BUG? Mark all read does not.

So imagine - I have “Following” up, and I see all the discussions in tags I have favorites - some number are bolded, with unread posts.

Real world example - after reviewing discussions of interest, I click “Mark all read” - the white check mark at the top right corner of the Following screen. I come back 8 hours later, and when I review tags with unread posts, it goes to the wrong place. Like in the image below (if I uploaded it correctly!), it shows the discussion “new speed increase” with 15 unread messages; but there were really only 8 unread messages since I marked all as read 8 hours ago! It went to a post from yesterday in the discussion, 15 posts from the end. This happens frequently, if not all the time - haven’t fully investigated it.

I think this is a bug - either ‘Mark all as read’ isn’t working correctly, or something else is causing this to think there are more unread messages then there are.

I don’t use the feature but I believe you have to choose which conversations you want to be marked as read by making a selection in the pull down menu on the far left.

broknsymetry I’ll try that. When I just click the check mark it does give the image below, which sure seems to imply ALL messages are being marked as read. Who knows!
