speed upgrade question

can anybody on here confirm or reply on here about the speed upgrades.are the legacy plans (performance,performance pro,etc) getting these speed upgrades,im on the performance speed tier 300/20 and have not received any upgrade yet?

Devious i think youre right because last year (2024) the legacy plans were in that list.i got an email 3 days ago but i guess that doesn’t mean anything?

Well, one would think that you would have only received that email if your plan was included.

But then again , this is Comcast that we’re talking about.

Like others have said, as of now legacy plans were not on the list. The last time they made any changes to legacy plans, was a year ago. If you want the current speeds, your better switching to one of there current plans. This legacy plan chart was from last year.

I’m on the Xfnity Gigabit 1000 Mbps plan. I never received an email. Is my plan supposed to be included?

I would think so. Even if your area is not mid split ready you would still see 1100/35. Check your Plan Builder page and see if changes were made

Here’s my notification (a big 100mbps increase on my Gigabit Extra plan as my neighborhood hasn’t been upgraded yet to get the faster upload speeds - still at 40mbps upload):

Yea my Email came a week after the speed increases, this is what mine looks like.

I’m on the old Blast tier, got the email a few weeks ago, download didn’t change but upload got boosted 50Mbps.
So I’m now testing around 930Mbps down and 175Mbps up.

You probably have a 1GigE Ethernet port on your device, so with the Ethernet overhead, the maximum data throughput is around 940 Mbps.

That does seem to be what Blast has turned into. It was 800/100 after the last round of increases, the email said that upload was being increased but nothing about download so 800/150 seems correct.

Yes my home network is still 1G Ethernet so I won’t see any more if they do increase the download. I have never seen any website I download from go faster than about 850Mbps so I’m not in a hurry to upgrade my router and switches and PC.
