Stop “all” scammers, that will never happen.
The good news there was that the FCC is basically deputizing the State Attorneys General, most of which are fairly good, and some of which are quite good.
Especially when multiple of the states band together.
(You’d think—hey—states banding together, isn’t that why there is a Federal government ?!)
But in reality, multi-state coalitions have been quite useful on more than one occasion.
Now that the FCC will be involved with “doge ball”, state efforts are a good thing.
I think that the various states are much more effective than the FCC/FTC at actually collecting fines that are imposed.
