HELLFIRE Jupiter has rings and moons, but it is so much fatter than Saturn. Clearly Saturn is the looker and Jupiter is the fat ugly sister.

Jokes aside but perhaps there is some gravitational thing related to distance from a sun (or suns) which make a mid sized planet at a certain distance attract more companions. If we could get more data from other solar systems that would greatly help but that level of granularity in measurement is well outside what we can do. At best we can detect if a system has some very large planet or two around a star, or system of stars. Trying to tell if a planet has moons in a distance solar system dozens or hundreds of light years away is difficult if not impossible. So damn frustrating, HST and Webb have shown that there is so much out there to explore, most of it at impossible distances and its all getting farther away, here we are on a little rocky thing with a smudge of biology on its surface and no hope in hell to even get near it.
