InternetJeff Followup question on avatars: I don’t believe I’ve notice any animated GIF avatars (which is fine, as I have no interest in having one), but just curious as to whether or not the platform supports them, or if they are currently disabled.
I was curious so I tried. The animation loop doesn’t run. The forum software just uses the first frame(I assume it’s the first frame) of the animation loop for the avatar.
But it does work if you add it to your post. That’s interesting. Why would the animation work in a post but not for an avatar? I guess it was done on purpose by the developers. But why?
By the way, that’s a great avatar for a moderator. I snatched it from another forum years ago. The user might’ve been a moderator.
