Yep. Been pretty well satisfied with it too. The robocall blocker (press a digit to continue) has been 100% effective. Call treatments, 911 function, logging and fallover to cell if TA is offline are great.

My only ongoing problem has been an irritating echo of my voice on calls. I'll give setup details as a new topic here.

I just recommended CallCentric to my brother. I have never used it. I normally use voip.ms. But his number can't be ported to voip.ms. But CallCentric said they could do it! I also suggested he get a GS HT802. I hope I have not steered him wrong.

I am a customer of both CallCentric and Voip.MS.

My main provider is CallCentric but Voip.MS is fine also.

It is not unusual for one company to be able to port a number when the other can't,
Depends on underlying carriers.

I'm not going to tell you that anything is 100 percent perfect in life, but Callcentric is very reliable, and has very good number porting procedures.

Does your brother live in a rural area?

Rural areas in particular tend to have fewer CLEC's available to serve VoIP providers.

If you go here and put in his area code and his exchange, you'll be able to see what carriers serve the area.

For EXAMPLE if you enter 207-528 which is for the rural town of Patten, Maine, you'll see these companies:

CONSOLIDATED COMMUNICATIONS 
        (the local phone company, hence designated ICO)
        (in some other situations the local company might be designated as ILEC or in legacy Bell territory as RBOC)     

    TIME WARNER CABLE
        (this is designated as a CLEC, yes, but presumably for Charter/Spectrum cable phone service, as Time Warner Cable is now Charter).

    NEW CINGULAR WIRELESS
       (this of course is AT&T Wireless)

So in our EXAMPLE, you can see that there does not seem to be any carrier in the local exchange area for a VoIP provider to utilitze.

Sometimes arrangements can be with a carrier in a nearby exchange in the same rate center---I'm not at all an expert in that.

By experiment, I think it's assuming your pre-formatted blocks (quoted with ```) are written in C# and highlighting the keywords. Odd choice of default. (Use ```text before the first line if you need to avoid the psychedelia).
