vaxvms I found this in my inbox. I’m not Rodolfo Prinzi. Scam is the first thing that came to mind. Then I noticed all the links in the email appeared to be valid PayPal addresses and I do have a PayPal account that hasn’t been used in a long time. Could it have been hacked? As I checked closer I saw the money was coming from a TRUIST BANK credit card. Huh? I’ve never heard of it. Then I saw it was for $12.37. Is that the going price for the PlayStation 5 Console that was purchased? It looks these scammers are using a phone number as the contact point. I knew it was cowpie when I got an identical second email with a different name at the top.
Sparkchaser I get them every few weeks. The giveaway for me is that, it’s not my PP address. If I look at the message source in TB email, it’s some unknown address, not a PP address.
