After being on Comcast since 2011, I have moved to AT&T Fiber. I wasn’t all that unhappy with what Comcast delivered; I just wanted the lower latency and higher upload speeds of fiber. I’m actually paying a bit more than I was before now.
Just wanted to thank everyone here who has helped me with issues and provided info over the years (on DSLReports previously obviously). Who knows; I might be back one day! The nice thing about competition is the companies play off each other so if AT&T gives me a hard time, I can jump right back to Comcast and vice versa.
It’s ironic that I jumped ship right after Xfinity gave everyone a little bandwidth bump. I didn’t even find out about the bump until I went to my account page yesterday to look up cancellation info and noticed it said 600/150 instead of 500/100. Oh well. 🙂
