Pittsburgh has lost 8 straight games, which included 4 different goalies. They’ve blown a 4 goal lead in the 3rd and a 3 goal lead in the 3rd in back-to-back games. And have been shut out in back-to-back games.
They haven’t won since Malkin got hurt. They went from being a few points out of the top of their division to being closer to last in the East than a wildcard spot.
Pittsburgh was the suprise team at the start of the season. But nobody really expected them to be good. So it’s probably a matter of the wheels falling off and the team’s play returning to the mean.
