Donut417 last I check Verizon is cheaper for us. Comcast charges us $66 a month for 150 Mbps plus they have our area data capped. Verizon is unlimited.
Comcast prepaid is $30-45/month, and comes with unlimited data.
You could be paying $30 instead and getting 100/20Mb

Most people also have a TV, a laptop, a tablet, etc.
Sure, you can use the personal hotspot feature on your phone, but most plans severely throttle the hotspot speeds, and throttle video streaming over cellular to 480p.
And what happens when you leave the house and need to take your phone with you?
Just not realistic for most people.
