What does HDR stands for, and why did some files are named such?

I just moved a bunch of images from my Android phone (Motorola Moto G7) to a HDD in my main PC. and noticed that a few files are "_HDR.jpg" while the majority are just simple ".jpg"

So what does HDR stands for, why did those files are named like that? I looked at those files and also their "Properties", and did not notice any significant difference aside from the HDR files being slightly bigger.

I did not explicitly use any option -- just turned on camera, and snapped some photos.

I would assume that HDR on the phone stands for "High Dynamic Range" the way it does with TV's.

HDR is to JPG, what Glatt Kosher is to regular Kosher.
