As laudable as the goal may be, further undermining of the Constitutional system would not be worth the price.
It didn't seem to be a huge issue when Obama and Clinton did it so many times, I'm sure we'll survive if he does something that most people want to see done.
You know the guy is not a friend to your country....
Clearly he's focused on improving your country but I'm not sure how that's germane to this conversation, aside from the topic at hand being something your country wants, which seems like it's a net positive for everyone. Unless people don't want the change but I expect that's a small handful and they'd lose in a vote if one were called.

As the March 9 switch to daylight saving time (DST) approaches in the U.S., the majority of Americans (54%) say they are ready to do away with the practice. By contrast, 40% of U.S. adults say they are in favor of daylight saving time, while 6% are uncertain.
I wouldn't be surprised if that 40% included people who just didn't understand the question or felt that ending the practice would align the clock in an adverse configuration from what they wanted.
