WebinTheWorld SpaceX is pushing the state of the art and the entire industry to do better. It’s an amazing outlier that everyone else in the rocket business is now judged against. They’re still more reliable, launch at a higher cadence, and at a lower cost than anyone else. It’s everyone else who isn’t improving much.
What is your actual problem with SpaceX? Starship is a new rocket development program. Why would you want the FAA to end it? What more oversight from the FAA do you want? More oversight didn’t stop all the legacy rocket companies from blowing up dozens of rockets over the decades.
There were no public injuries during Starship Flight 7’s mishap, though there was one confirmed report of minor vehicle damage in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
You’ve never explained your hate for SpaceX, outside of an obvious specific hate for Musk because he’s rich, no matter which user name you use. You may as well hate NASA and the FAA because ultimately Trump is in charge of them or Boeing, Lockeed, and the other legacy aerospace companies (that contract with NASA to build their hardware) because rich guys are in charge of them.
Who else can NASA depend on to launch their missions at the speed and low cost of SpaceX? Who else is launching like this? China is the closest, but no one. Everyone else launches maybe once a month, not 2-3 times a week.
