broknsymetry Of the small list you pasted here, I've only seen Atlas.
I didn't think Lopez did that bad of a job, but the writing was corny as hell.

It's pretty funny that Jon Voight was nomintaed (and won!) for 4 separate movies in the "Supporting Actor" category:

I didn't even know he was in 4 movies last year.

I still plan on watching some of these movies. 🤷

Dennis Quaid / “Reagan”

I agree with the movies on that list but not the actors. While Dennis Quaid wasn't as spitting an image as Daniel Day-Lewis was with Lincoln, he was certainly no different from Anthony Hopkins playing Nixon or Sam Rockwell as Bush, and his acting was just fine. Same with Joaquin Phoenix in the Joker sequel, I hated the movie but his acting wasn't the reason for its failure.

I feel like that list was mostly an extension of bad movies more than bad actors because they ran out of room for bad movies.

I've seen Borderlands, Joker: Folie à Deux, Dear Santa, Unfrosted, Argylle and Atlas.

Borderlands was loud and obnoxious. Every character was annoying. Once the plot got going it was watchable, but yeah, not a good movie.

Joker was insufferable.

Dear Santa was not funny and a chore to get through. I think it sat in a weird area where it was a movie that was meant for kids, but then a few times seemed like the jokes weren't age appropriate. Maybe I'm misremembering, which is good.

Unfrosted was painfully not funny. Easily the worst of the bunch.

Argylle and Atlas were both at least watchable. Seems odd that they are being singled out as especially bad. I wouldn't recommend them, but they are just kind of standard forgettable action movies.

Reviews seem to be mixed.

Personally, I have never found Jerry Seinfeld very funny, more annoying than anything else.

Perhaps because as a native New Yorker, I've met too many people like him.

Megalopolis was terrible shadowland wasn't that bad and I refuse to watch anything with Lopez in it.

And Madame web was really the probably the worst movie ever. 👎

I didn't watch a ton of Seinfeld when it was on. I was more into watching The Simpsons at that age. But most of the reruns I've seen, I've liked.

I don't think I've ever seen a standup of his. I remember one bit about tucking your valuables in your shoes at the beach, but that's about it.

So, I can't say how closely Unfrosted was to his style of comedy. The movie was more surreal and absurd, but to me nothing landed.

He was more of a time and place kind of guy. Same as George Carlin. Same as Chris Rock. They were hilarious at the time especially if you connected with their humor but I can't stand to watch them today.

That always seems to be the way the Razzies go. In some way, it probably gets them a bit more publicity. Especially if a big name actually accepts the award.

That's not to say a good actor, can't phone in a performance on a bad movie.

Of course, the Razzies aren't really about the 'worst' movies. They tend to be the worst movies that have some popularity. Because the are tons of direct-to-DVD type trash that would wipe the floor with any of these movies in terms of being terrible.
