What is the best way to support Ukraine?

Without going into current events, how can I support Ukraine, what is the best way to donate to them? What else can I do? I have an associate who's wife is from there. My heart aches for them.

I’ve donated money to DIRECT RELIEF in the past.

https://www.directrelief.org/emergency/ukraine-crisis/. IIRC, 94% of money collected goes directly where it’s needed.

Also I’ve sent clothes to HOPE FOR UKRAINE. https://hfu.org/ I found that there were no local drop points for clothes . Not the Ukraine Social club in Southport, nor Ukrainian churches in Stamford. They would probably have been overwhelmed. So I’ve sent packages to the HFU in Roseland New Jersey according to their address on the website.

Ukrainian Red Cross? Apparently the American Red Cross works with them to distibute aid in the country.

The main thing I would say is to make sure the organization that you are going to donate to is legitimate.

Personally I do not know any agency's that can support them. 🙂

It's hard to know who to trust for charities. There needs to be a Snopes for charities.
