TP Link Omada and Rogers Cable IPv6

I have a TP Link Omada SDN setup at a bussiness location. The TP LINK ER605 router is behind a Rogers CODA-5810 in bridge mode. The WAN interface is configured to receive a /56 prefix in the Omada controller. However, it only allows me to assign a single /64 prefix ID to a LAN interface.

Has anyone setup IPv6 on Rogers Cable service using TP Link Omada system before? I don't know if this is an Omada issue, Rogers business issue or CODA 5810 issue, etc.

No, but there has been lots of talk of residential customers not getting the same prefix as they used to. There was a thread on the old DSLR and there is on the Rogers Community forums.

I am not familure with TP LINK ER605 so I cannot attest to its capabilities.

If your Rogers Access method is pure fiber then Rogers currently have not finalized how they will distribute Prefix Deligation so on pure fiber all you can get is a /64

If your Rogers Access method is COAX then they are providing diferrent PD all depending on your area. I'm on COAX and I do get a /56 and I am able to populated all my subnets with global addresses. My Router is a MikroTik so it is a very capable device.

So if you are getting a /56 the problem may be your TP LINK ER605 capability or lack of capability.
