Not pissed exactly. It's the people being heard, flexing. Both sides of the fence have done this before. It has an effect, if just to cause a chill in the backs of the ultra-rich.

You can shop local and small and it is encouraged to do so.

I won't be boycotting Mouser or Newegg, they aren't small, but I don't count them as being applicable.

Buying a new car and tons of unnecessary goodies as well today...

What I'll really be doing, is buying foodstuffs and other necessities, paying bills to keep things like Natural Gas, Electricity and Water ON and this funny thing called the interwebz working so I can read farcical things about boycotts and add my commentary.

1 day is not enough to get the attention of the stockholders and the board of directors. It has to go on long enough to have a large effect on quarterly earnings for the boycott to do any good.

Well, unless you are living off-grid and somehow have free internet, you spent money today. You just haven't been billed for all of it yet. Spend no money for a day.....stupid. You will just purchases those things tomorrow or later.
