I switched from PE (I used PE for many years) to PS a while ago. If PE 2025 has the same Content-Aware goodies as PS I say go for it if you do more than occasional image enhancement. I thinks it's worth the 70 bucks. It makes things so much simpler, easier and quicker. 2 clicks to remove things like power lines in an image. Removing other stuff works well too. There's probably other goodies I haven't discover yet.
I also have and play with an older version of Premiere Elements that satisfies my simple needs. After using a still image camera forever I never thought I'd use Premier Elements but I've been getting more interested in recording, editing, and posting videos online as well as still images. I'm a rail fan. Trains move. DSLRs record video. YMMV.
