it is kind of important. Something I should have also mention. The expenses that you claim against the the income you are making the less that will go towards social security and medicare.
Taxes this year with my SO being a care giver, made 65000 but with the expenses claimed I was able to lower the amount of taxed paid. I was able to lower it down to about 150.00. Which means only 150 worth of income went towards social security and medicare.
