MS account-creation bypass how-to? Which flash drive for Win-11?

Hi, this is sorta a continuation of my original post from the old DSLR, as i'm still unresolved as to how to proceed. So firstly: From whatever is left on the market these days - which is the best value, durable USB flash drive, that's sufficient to download an ISO of Win11 (and i forget what else i need to download along with the ISO)? The goal is to bypass Microsoft's requirement to create an MS account to upgrade to Win11. ...BTW I have both Cruzer-Glide & original Cruzer, and i feel as if the Glide is junk compared to the original one. And if/when i'd finally get the flash-drive, is there a clear step-by-step guide to installation? I need a guide that makes Zero assumptions that i'd know what to click every step of the way. Too many guides don't correspond to the actual choices displayed by MS at every step. Thanks! P.S. I keep pushing off each new Win version that's shoved down our throats, because it also necessitates my installing my ancient HP LJ1018 printer manually. I.E. thispc/c:/users/lenovo/downloads click:hp-laserjet-1018-basic-driver.zip, and on and on and on... BTW, i wonder if old laser printers are installable in Linux, though i never actually bothered to learn Linux due to my using MagicJack for phone svc.

AKA 65W charger with barrel-plug. ( Assuming BIOS is right, & present charger is deficient. )
Preferably delivered to your door, since going out to pick up is burdensome.

If your laptop only has USB2 ports, my recommendation stands: newer "generation" pendrives may overheat vintage USB ports; & USB labeling standards morphed roughly when USB3.1 came out.

Reticent, OK so maybe i'll look into Lexars, but i'm still not sure how many to get, or how many gigabytes (each).
BTW you mentioned PM (and TMI, whatever that is) so i just now tested by clicking your alias, and then tried sending you a PM titled testing 123. Not sure you received it.

Whereas my own style of learning is to hem-and-haw pre-emptively to a zillion techies, who in turn, often respond at cross-purposes, and this goes on and on in agonizing circles, till i'm back to square-one, and wind up in a web of tech-troubles anyway (after all that agonizing). Comprende? 🙄 😀

vaxvms That's precisely why the roundabout feedback you just gave me about Dell is so useful, as that's more than just one opinion. Just as i appreciate Reticent's feedback to Donoreo about how he'd been burnt by some USB-pens (though didn't appreciate the comment about avoidance of learning, nor Donoreo's either. It's hard to learn so much at once in an ever-changing world, when your life is split into too many split-frames, and dealing with health issues too. Everyone's situation is different, so does it make sense to judge disembodied onliners? Even your best RL friends - do you know every nuance occurring inside them or their immediate enviro?

P.S. (off-topic, and probably belongs on open-forum) this may interest some of you who may have gotten annoyed by this arduous thread:

That is why I commented on overthinking. USB thumb drives are very simple, pick the size, pick the speed, and pick a reliable brand.

including USB flash drives that overheated vintage ports. No overthinking, just damage.

Some Dell Latitude 3340 models have "USB 3.2 Generation 1" ports - later vintages, at least.
Minni should be able to use the Service Tag to look up specifics of her laptop.
Sifting through reviews may provide performance & reliability anecdotal data.
