Rogers lays off about 400 customer facing positions

Roughly 400 people were let go by Rogers.

All the people who were let go worked in mostly the online chat support group. But some customer service people were also let go.

Unconfirmed is that members of Rogers social media team have been let go.

It looks to me like the Rogers Social Media support staff were all let go as no one has responded to my Direct Message on X yesterday about the issues that the Xfinity STB had with yesterday’s AlertReady test. I only received an unrelated automated marketing message when I sent my message & nothing since. meh
