Double touch to open a thread with IPad

Using my IPad to read the threads , I need to touch the thread title twice to open it. Opening threads is the only example I have of this occurring. Opening forums is done with 1 touch only. This happens every time. I’m using IPad. Assistive touch doesn’t help in asking for double tap. Anyone else experiencing this?

I don't have an iOS device to check. Does this happen with the official Flarum forum?

Just tested w/my iPad and at the Flarum forum posts open with a single touch.

On BBF, I can confirm that it takes a double touch. Also, a long touch will produce the following:
