Somewhat-Reticent Yep, swatting flies is a fine sport, given time. Avoid collateral damage. Or hunt ’em with a trained dog. Remove invasive plants they eat.

robxr4ti It might be worth noting that the Lantern Fly didn’t turn out to be the plague they hyped it to be. They were a nuisance for about two years and have virtually vanished from my area.
