telcodad FYI - There's this thread on the Xfinity Community Forum where the latest ("3 days ago") reply is that V10.01.03 has just been rolled out in the "Lafayette GA" area:
Comcast (all the operators), do a staged roll out (to minimize the pain in case they encounter problems or need to roll back). No amount of testing always catches all the anomalies that are experienced in the real plant (although all the operators keep adding test cases to their internal testing processes when they find a new "huh? that's new."). Start (deploy) very small, watch (and test, test, test), expand a bit, test, test, test, and so on, and then "release to all regions" for widespread deployment. Comcast has typically been observed to pick different locations for those initial test deployments over the years, and, apparently, Lafayette won the coin toss this time.
