However, the U.S. Trade Representative’s office is evaluating tariffs on countries that impose taxes targeting American tech companies, with India being one of the nations under review. This action seeks to counteract foreign taxes and regulations perceived as discriminatory against U.S. firms. This could also go away based on further concessions - or not.
