ilikeme1 Comcast has a monopoly over the area, they’ve been here for years, I’m just stubborn. The IQ rounter that Hex mentioned did help, same as the 130 gigs of fast data from T-mobile with their “backup” internet service.
It would have been nice to keep the DSL as a second connection, but I’ll probably pay Comcast the same price that I paid for the other 2 services, so I guess it’s a moot point. Then again, I might need to keep T-mobile. If it’s anything like my parent’s service across town, Comcast will have more outages than my former DSL, which was rock solid, save for that 2 week outage 5 years ago.
