broknsymetry Sparkchaser I’ve always hated MRIs even the large bore ones, not because I’m claustrophobic but because they don’t give you anything upon which to focus your attention. I usually look for some small defect in the paint or material to focus my gaze. It would be great if they could provide you with some video selection of your choice; I would choose The Three Stooges.

Aside from the thump-thump, it was a pretty decent experience.
GeekGirl1 The last MRI I had, they played elevator music. That was far worse torture than the machine itself. Next time, I’ll just tell them to turn off the music. The confinement and loud noise doesn’t bother me. I’m busy thinking of how the machine works.
