Looks like I get to be the first poster in the Apple Forum. That was my most frequented area of DSLReports. Next was probably Sports. Hope this site grows and has a great group of people like was found on DSLR.

Glad to see the Apple Forum reform here. There was always lots of useful information and great discussions. Will be nice to have it continue here. I have been a Mac user since the late 80’s and joined dslreports in April of 2000.

I finally made it here, too. I was logging into DSLreports.com every few months, but “All Thing Apple” was my home there from 3/30/2000 (when I joined) until the site closed, so 25 years. Mac user since 1986. I am so sorry that DSLR shut down without warning. I found this place via Reddit when I couldn’t ping DSLR tonight. Glad to see some old user names here.

I’m so sorry that I didn’t archive it before it did. I didn’t believe it was gonna happen. Or at least I thought there’d be a warning. I guess the 5 minutes every hour period was the warning.

The Wayback Machine in the Internet Archive documented much (but not everything) until the last screenshot on 1/15/25.

Yeah. I know. But I could’ve archived a few areas that are behind robots.txt. And you meant snapshot, not screenshot.
